Support Human Rights Weekly UK by donating now.
Over the past nine years, our award-winning charity has educated the public on human rights, changed minds and held national and local authorities to account – sometimes to audiences over half a million One year per person.
Now more than ever, EachOther needs your support to tackle misinformation about human rights and give a voice to otherwise voiceless human rights defenders. For nearly a decade, we’ve covered elections, legislation, protests and the latest headlines. Now we’re asking for your support to tackle human rights misinformation, support new writers, and develop our editorial plans.
The world of philanthropy is extremely challenging. We need your support to ensure our independent publication can continue to support the vital work of underrepresented and marginalized voices from communities across the UK.
With your help…
We must protect each other’s rights, but to do this we need your support. In the run-up to the election, we have witnessed an increase in misinformation and dangerous rhetoric around human rights issues. Your donation will allow us to take responsibility for the issues that affect our daily lives and improve human rights education for the public beyond elections.
£20 – Support 1-2-1 meetings with writers from marginalized communities to develop their stories.
£40 – enables us to support writers outside of publishing.
£60 – Supports the delivery of human rights education workshops to young people.
£100 – Support our newsrooms to produce and publish stories that would otherwise go unheard.
By pledging your support today, you will become one of EachOther’s first human rights defenders and will receive 12 month subscription to our mailing list.
With your help, EachOther will continue to deliver high-quality coverage to the public, including reporting on the latest happenings in Westminster, protest reporting, cover investigations and more.
Donations will ensure we stand up and deliver campaigns in creative ways, such as our recent collaboration with LUSH: Don’t let human rights become a dirty word. The campaign aims to dispel misinformation and investigate public opinion on human rights issues – at a time when the country feels divided.
The campaign reached over 400,000 people online when we brought it to Parliament Square to raise awareness of human rights education. Our product “Human Rights” is still available in some LUSH stores and online. All proceeds will be used to support our work.
