Michael Jordan’s iconic 32,683-square-foot mansion in Highland Park, Illinois, sold this week for $9.5 million.
Nearly 11 years after it went on the market (December 17, 2013), the sale has been completed with an initial asking price of $29 million. The sale marks a 67% price reduction.
The home went into escrow in September, but its price wasn’t released to the public until recently. The listing closed on Tuesday, according to Compass. It was last listed in May 2015 for $14.8 million before being taken off the market in February 2021.
According to Zillow, the two-story home was built in 1995 and includes nine bedrooms and 19 bathrooms (15 of which are full). It features a full-size basketball court, putting green, tennis courts, cigar room and circular infinity pool. A giant “23” engraved on the door – Jordan’s jersey number with the Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards – welcomes visitors. There is also a library and a 14-car garage.
